lyrics
I don’t want to worship a god
I made in my own image
and what’s the use of a savior
who depends on my righteousness
maybe I’ve been seeing things wrong
maybe I don’t know you at all
maybe I’ve been seeing things wrong
maybe you’re not so much like me
oh holy ghost
please unravel my illusions
when the perfect comes
the imperfect will pass away
when I know you
my perceptions won’t mean anything
Who are you
can I know you
in this life
in this body
with this sick, apathetic heart
or am I too far
when the perfect comes
the imperfect will pass away
when I know you
my perceptions won’t mean anything
so show me who you are
show me who you really are

There is something haunting about the family having zero clue about WW2 in its entirety. I remember learning about them and wondering and I still wonder now how many are still in the wilderness, driven there by atrocities or not. Many find being alone to be fear inducing. But they left and isolated out of fear to begin with. This music is just the tip of the iceberg for how haunting and emotional the situation is. It does its job as well as possible, though. Amazing. jacensolodjo

It's like being swept on a transcendent journey, where the soaring melodies lift you into a realm of pure escape, embodying a sense of flying away from the mundane. Each note weaves a tapestry of eternal sorrow and compassion, an exquisite balance of sadness and joy that echoes the complex emotions of life itself. lecassette8
